Referrals from local providers will be necessary for children to receive services through the clinic.
Where will my child receive services?
Services will primarily be provided in our outpatient therapy clinic, located at 1771 Centennial Drive, in Laramie. In some instances, services may require therapists to visit homes to assist in therapy implementation.
Can my child receive services if we don't live in Laramie?
Yes, our therapists are able to perform teletherapy sessions in most cases to residents throughout Wyoming.
Will I be responsible for paying for services?
Yes. WyoKids Therapy services are provided in the same manner as any other therapy clinic. Services are not free to families. We are able to bill most insurance companies and Medicaid. Families will be responsible for the patient portion not covered under insurance. Co-pays must be paid at the time of service.
I don't have insurance, can my child still receive therapy at WyoKids Therapy?
Yes. WyoKids Therapy can bill families directly for services, we do not require insurance coverage. Self-pay or Out-of-Pocket clients must pay at the time of service.
What should I expect for my child's first appointment?
Prior to your child's first appointment, a staff member will do a brief telephone intake to get started. WyoKids Therapy utilizes an electronic medical record system which will generate an account for our patient portal. All forms must be completed through the portal prior to arriving. If you need assistance in accessing the portal, or don't have access to the internet, our staff can manually walk you through the system via telephone. All records from therapy visits can also be accessed through the portal.
